Glimpses of the wonderful

image002_21Running for four months until mid-September, Exeter’s Royal Albert Memorial Museum (RAMM for short) is staging a stunning exhibition about south Devon’s links with the sea and it’s study.

This major collection of historic and modern art, sculpture, science and history boasts an amazing series of individual collections all brought together under one roof to form a unique, interesting and educational exhibition.

IMG_2079smI have been very lucky, and proud, to have played a small part of my own. Holly and Kate (two of the curators) approached me last year and asked if I was interested in supplying some images for display, to help identify the creatures in their rock-pool aquarium and to have some photos made into merchandise. I was all too keen to be involved and I must say the work they have put into this professional display space has been amazing. The end result is awe-inspiring!

The RAMM is free to visit, and if you are in Exeter I urge you to do so if you have any interest in the sea-shore, and how we learned so much about the wildlife we see there today :)
